I offer Criminal Law Tuition Online as well as in Fareham, Hampshire up to honours degree level.

What tuition experience do I have?

My first law student used my services around nine years ago. Since then I have tutored many areas of equity and trusts law to students. I would love to help you if you are studying law at university or on a distance learning course.

What areas of equity and trusts law could we cover during tuition?

Typical areas of equity & trusts law we would cover during tuition are:

The three certaintiesTrust rights & powersThe constitution of trusts
Charities Acts & charitable purposes
(including cy-pres)
Donatio mortis causaProprietary estoppel
Secret TrustsDiscretionary TrustsCo-ownership
Resulting and implied trustsLiablity of strangers to a trustBreach of trusts and remedies

Depending on your needs and the timescale of tuition, we will regularly discuss past exam questions. This will give you confidence for the actual exams. Going through past questions will also improve your exam technique. Equity and trusts is a subject that often focuses on fairness. We will discuss why this is and why rules were created and the situations they were intended to deal with, so that you can answer essay questions and become more analytical in your approach to answering questions generally.

Why choose me as your law tutor?

I am a Solicitor (non-practising) who has both academic knowledge and years of experience working in legal roles. As well as helping you to understand legal rules, I can help you to understand how the law operates in real-life.

If you can understand how the different legal rules operate in real-life, you will approach exam questions in a much more logical way than students who only have book knowledge.

I hope that I have given you an idea of what I offer and how I could help you with your law studies. You may also see more information about me on my About Me page here. That page talks about my legal background from an academic and professional perspective.
